The Experience
We were all sitting around the television—me, my wife Kelly, and our 9 year-old son, Johnny—when Julian Bream came on. The performance was split screen, and Bream was playing a duet—with himself. Johnny was mesmerized. At the end he turned to us and said, “I want to play guitar like him!” We joked that he’d need four arms.
