More Turbo-Tune Info
Here's what the tech for Tommy Girvin and Lee Beverly, from the Eddie Money Band had to say about TurboTune:
Hey!!
Guitar techs everywhere! Wisen up! Use Markley's TurboTune! It's all that and a bag of Cool Ranch Dorito's!
In my case, I found out it hooked up to my power drill by accident, when a friend of mine got stupid and pulled the darned thing apart! (It comes apart for this reason.)
So I hooked it up and boy were my mornings easier! I tech for Tommy Girvin and Lee Beverly, from the Eddie Money Band. We just wrapped up the Triple Shot of Rock Tour, with Survivor and Loverboy. What a blast!
On our last night, in Kelseyville, CA, Billy O, from Survivor, had a problem. His strings just went to shit; it sounded like mud coming out of a can!
So I threw him his spare, and the look on his face when he saw me pull out my Dewalt! But in just a little over three minutes, we had him back with his main bass! He was dumbfounded!
It totally saved my ass, boyz!! I swear by it. It's the only one I'll ever use! Even after I stop doing this for money, I'll use it for my own at home!
Quit wondering how great your rig will sound once you have those new strings on there! Do it faster than any other winder!
As they say backstage
Wrap those things around here, honey!!
Cheers!!
